(More customer reviews)If you're lucky enough to receive what you pay for, this battery charger works. How long it chargers, I don't know yet. But it goes from orange to green and the battery is powered.

However, it does not look like it is pictured here, and does not come with that whack "Free European Adapter". Beware of sellers and be sure to check their feedback THOROUGHLY. I received a "Minolta SDM-152" inside a case for the SDM-119 (this charger). I'm not sure if this is a case of poor packaging or mail fraud, but beware.

As of 6/24/2009:
After using the "correct" charger with my camera, the screen showed total failure. The battery charger does a poor job of recognizing when the battery is fully charged (I placed it back on the charger after it was green to check this). I think the charger might have actually over-charged my battery and caused damage to the camera I was using.
